Its a simultaneous release of both big minds browsers Google’s chrome and Microsoft’s IE8. Microsoft has promised with a new addition of features in this released beta 2 browser, the main key feature is InPrivate, Microsoft has also applied for a trademark on this term. Microsoft has tweaked IE to cut the time and number of clicks on performing common tasks. Webslices are used in order to expose portions of a webpage as webslice from which a user can subscribe the content with them on their link bar and also users receives update notification when the content changes. Some of the IE8 features are:
• Cascading style sheets.
• Inconsistencies in cross-browser have been fixed.
• Provides enhanced protection against deceptive websites.
IE 8 comes with a new technology called “Domain Highlighting”, which highlights the top level domains in the address bar, providing users to quickly confirm that the website which they are visiting is the site they intended to visit.
