As we know Microsoft has already announced its release of Blue Track mouse, now they announce "SideWinder X8" a new range mouse for gaming.

This new released X8 mouse can be customized through the seven programmable buttons, changeable mouse feet, macro record button and dpi switching. X8 mouse uses a new Blue Track technology, which offers image processing of 13,000 frames/second.

Microsoft assures that this Blue Track technology will offer greater accuracy over laser on different surfaces. The X8 uses 2.4 GHz wireless radio frequency, the dpi settings and macro icons is shown on the LCD of the mouse. Pre-order of X8 mouse can be done now, but it will begin shipping only on February 2009. More specification and details can be found at the Microsoft's website.
